One time I was trying to get into a club, and the bouncer wouldnt let me in..some altercation ensued..as I was walking away there was a girl selling roses outside the club..I bought a dozen..and asked her to give it to the bouncer..and tell him its for his funeral

she balked

I watched him from the corner and he took the flowers, slammed them to the ground and stepped on them

I LOLed, then went home..guess dudes dont like flowers

I guess at the end of the day credit score is moot unless you're ready to make a major purchase or employment.

Ogre where did u go on honey moon? I saw some pics of aurora borealis?

Here is range, I hear FICO is out the door and Vantage is the norm

Just jostling ya..Im sorry I have never tried Invaseline

But one time I did go for custom toof bleaching, where they molded some tray to the shape of my teef..they had to use extra mold and said sorry, we usually dont mold horse teeth

When I tried it the first time, it burned my gums (either the tray or the bleach), and it was sore for a week..i complained to the dentist..told her I lost the gel bleach and had to use regular bleach

(thats a fake story, but one time I did try to use regular bleach on my teeth to expedite the process..shit hurt like a mofo)

Let me make sure I've got this right.  You put regular bleach on your teeth? Shirley not.

Those are some good scores..is there a major diff in getting qualified for loans or better rates at the 800 levels?

I really don't know.  I haven't applied for a loan in years.  The 720-740 range is where the magical "excellent" cutoff is.  I don't think there's any bonus to be being higher than that.

Mine is crap right now, right around 600 I think.

Credit utilization is through the roof (80%+) due to a whole lot of unfortunate events over the past two years, and an expensive 10 year anniversary trip that went largely on credit and couldn't be paid quickly due to previously mentioned unfortunate events, and age of accounts has dropped since I re-organized some things.

It's going to be a couple of years of pain to dig out.

That said, I'm actually acquiring wealth, finally. With home equity and savings, I'm net positive. I considered pulling some of that out to pay down debt, but it would require a re-mortgage at an unfavorable rate, or pulling from retirement savings with a penalty.

I may have to make that my new goal..but not give a shit if 750-800+ is more of a cluster than a value

I noticed when I corrected the payment error..the score jumped from 682 to 755. 73 point spread for hypothetically missing 2 payments

816, 814 and 810.

It went down to 720ish last year because I was paying everything with cash and not using any credit.   Kinda messed up the way that works.
