I have a Kyosera. Its awesome. $80 a month includes service, ink, and payment. I was spending $750 a year on ink alone prior to the switch.

Wow.  Can I ask who your vendor is?  Is that for color laser?  Tell me more, please.

No color. It scans, copies and faxes and is fast.  I got it thru Sharp.

I saved a bunch of money by getting the model that was a year old.

well you're spending $1k/yr on leasing this printer. for heavy duty office use, it maybe worth the headaches.

for the home user thats a bit pricey

Stop buying ink-jet printers. Get a good quality laser printer.

HP Laser-jet printers are generally pretty good. Avoid the cheap printers, though they'll still be better than an ink-jet.
